Here is my results on what kind of soul that I am. . .

You Are a Dreaming Soul

Your vivid emotions and imagination takes you away from this world

So much so that you tend to live in your head most of the time

You have great dreams and ambitions that could be the envy of all...

But for you, following through with your dreams is a bit difficult

You are charming, endearing, and people tend to love you.

Forgiving and tolerant, you see the world through rose colored glasses.

Underneath it all, you have a ton of passion that you hide from others.

Always hopeful, you tend to expect positive outcomes in your life.

Souls you are most compatible with: Newborn Soul, Prophet Soul, and Traveler Soul

This test *is* eerily accurate. The minute this popped up on the screen, everyone in the room gasped, "oh, no doubt."

Your result for The Director Who Films Your Life Test...

Quentin Tarantino

Your film will be 50% romantic, 26% comedy, 52% complex plot, and a $ 41 million budget.

Wow! What a life you have led thus far! Action-packed, anti-social with probably dark humor. Quentin hasn't really made many films, but each successive one is a bigger and grander project ... and more violent. Karate CHOP! Your life story will probably star Michael Madsen, Uma Thurman, or some TV or movie star from the 1980s for which your film will be the comeback -- let's say Emilio Estevez. Maybe. Quentin's short directing resume includes Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, and Kill Bill Vols. 1 & 2.

I was perusing YouTube and came across this live performance from Simply Red, of "Holding Back the Years". After a couple decades, this man's voice is still awesome. I was in awe listening to it.

28th-Feb-2007 11:50 pm - Healing
A's sister AG sent us a "healing chant" chanted by the Dalai Lama; it's a 45-minute chant that he had produced.

Anyway, as I lay listening to it as it started, it became clear that its healing was quite profound, and I was naturally directed to send its healing to Tom Saw, my friend who recently died of a drug overdose at the age of 51.

As I saw the images in my heart, I was in a forest looking for Tom. I was a being of light and he was to be found in a dark forest. I was moving among the black trees, looking and then finding Tom, who was lost and blind, and perhaps scared. I slowly guided him, with my hand on his black encrusted shoulder, back onto a clearer path, along mountain paths until he started to shed his dark covering and to become a lighter and lighter being, with me at his side.

Nothing existed but love, joy, compassion and acceptance, flowing from me to Tom. He followed me as we revisited places we'd seen together before, often hugging there or at times I held his hand because he just needed to be told how much it was okay.

No words spoken, just love and acceptance.

Next we visited his funeral, where a multitude of family and friends spoke of the things Tom had shown all of us, how he was missed, and how he had changed us all.

Tom was told my all of us, his fellows on this path we're on, that there was no mistakes here -- this was all meant to be and that hard feelings do not exist in this big picture of the path we're all on -- on together.

The net of love from these people all directed at Tom, rays of light spreading from all of our hearts toward and into Tom's. He is part of us all, and we of him.

We suddenly became joined by all beings, and we were all netted together by bands of energy of compassion and of the loyalty and friendship of fellow travelers.

Tom would never have to leave this place again, never doubt that he did not do his path the best way he could. We were all here together, experiencing what we can possibly imagine as the best and only way it were possible. Joined in eternity and forever by the bond of love and fellowship.

May nothing ever part us from it, nor will we ever let it do so.

People are often unreasonable, Illogical,
and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you
of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful,You will win some
false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank,
people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building,
someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness,
they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you have anyway.

You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

26th-Sep-2006 10:52 pm - From THE SCARLET LETTER
So much truth in this, and so much that I ignored when my best friend told me the basic same... this is not an exact analogy, as some motives ascribed below were more than I managed

One day, leaning his forehead on his hand, and his elbow on the sill of the open window, that looked towards the grave-yard, he talked with Roger Chillingworth, while the old man was examining a bundle of unsightly plants.

"Where," asked he, with a look askance at them--for it was the clergyman's peculiarity that he seldom, now-a-days, looked straight forth at any object, whether human or inanimate, "where, my kind doctor, did you gather those herbs, with such a dark, flabby leaf?"

"Even in the graveyard here at hand," answered the physician, continuing his employment. "They are new to me. I found them growing on a grave, which bore no tombstone, no other memorial of the dead man, save these ugly weeds, that have taken upon themselves to keep him in remembrance. They grew out of his heart, and typify, it may be, some hideous secret that was buried with him, and which he had done better to confess during his lifetime."

"Perchance," said Mr. Dimmesdale, "he earnestly desired it, but could not."

"And wherefore?" rejoined the physician.

"Wherefore not; since all the powers of nature call so earnestly for the confession of sin, that these black weeds have sprung up out of a buried heart, to make manifest, an outspoken crime?"

"That, good sir, is but a phantasy of yours," replied the minister. "There can be, if I forbode aright, no power, short of the Divine mercy, to disclose, whether by uttered words, or by type or emblem, the secrets that may be buried in the human heart. The heart, making itself guilty of such secrets, must perforce hold them, until the day when all hidden things shall be revealed. Nor have I so read or interpreted Holy Writ, as to understand that the disclosure of human thoughts and deeds, then to be made, is intended as a part of the retribution. That, surely, were a shallow view of it. No; these revelations, unless I greatly err, are meant merely to promote the intellectual satisfaction of all intelligent beings, who will stand waiting, on that day, to see the dark problem of this life made plain. A knowledge of men's hearts will be needful to the completest solution of that problem. And, I conceive moreover, that the hearts holding such miserable secrets as you speak of, will yield them up, at that last day, not with reluctance, but with a joy unutterable."

"Then why not reveal it here?" asked Roger Chillingworth, glancing quietly aside at the minister. "Why should not the guilty ones sooner avail themselves of this unutterable solace?"

"They mostly do," said the clergyman, griping hard at his breast, as if afflicted with an importunate throb of pain. "Many, many a poor soul hath given its confidence to me, not only on the death-bed, but while strong in life, and fair in reputation. And ever, after such an outpouring, oh, what a relief have I witnessed in those sinful brethren! even as in one who at last draws free air, after a long stifling with his own polluted breath. How can it be otherwise? Why should a wretched man--guilty, we will say, of murder--prefer to keep the dead corpse buried in his own heart, rather than fling it forth at once, and let the universe take care of it!"

"Yet some men bury their secrets thus," observed the calm physician.

"True; there are such men," answered Mr. Dimmesdale. "But not to suggest more obvious reasons, it may be that they are kept silent by the very constitution of their nature. Or--can we not suppose it?--guilty as they may be, retaining, nevertheless, a zeal for God's glory and man's welfare, they shrink from displaying themselves black and filthy in the view of men; because, thenceforward, no good can be achieved by them; no evil of the past be redeemed by better service. So, to their own unutterable torment, they go about among their fellow-creatures, looking pure as new-fallen snow, while their hearts are all speckled and spotted with iniquity of which they cannot rid themselves."

"These men deceive themselves," said Roger Chillingworth, with somewhat more emphasis than usual, and making a slight gesture with his forefinger. "They fear to take up the shame that rightfully belongs to them. Their love for man, their zeal for God's service--these holy impulses may or may not coexist in their hearts with the evil inmates to which their guilt has unbarred the door, and which must needs propagate a hellish breed within them. But, if they seek to glorify God, let them not lift heavenward their unclean hands! If they would serve their fellowmen, let them do it by making manifest the power and reality of conscience, in constraining them to penitential self-abasement! Would thou have me to believe, O wise and pious friend, that a false show can be better--can be more for God's glory, or man' welfare--than God's own truth? Trust me, such men deceive themselves!" - Scarlet Letter, ch. 10

See previous post where I show how much of a liar I am.

Then add onto it... justifying and rationalizing more lying behavior that hurts the girl who showed me any real love EVER in my life.

This is not bullshit... do not ever become a liar like I am...

I hope and now work hard on this problem. If you are like me, it will come down to calling your father to tell him how crappy a person you are... like I am just about to do.

Tell your generous aunt who's letting you stay with her just how shitty a person her sister's boy has become.

Assure your closest friend that all will be well, then when challenged (like she fortold), crumple and lie some more. Live that double life as a liar...and you will be hating life.

She will never talk to me again because of what I have done to her, nor do I deserve to ever speak to or see her again.

Please do not take your real friends for granted...

Don't ever go down this road. I hope there is hope.
I am a liar. I have exploited and crushed, perhaps RUINED, another human being, and at that, a sweet tempered well-intentioned lady whose one glance can melt me.

I have destroyed her because I had already destroyed myself. I carried her into my web of lies and crappy morals, caused her to think twice about her better judgments, and made her--a human being whom I called friend--feel crazy.

I deserve to pay for this for a long time, as would anyone who hurt a child. I hurt a child-at-heart, and for this I am truly sorry.

I have lost a piece of my soul today, but she feels like she has lost all of hers because of my illusions.

I am worthless and sick.

My only path is to make it right through never lying again, or if I do, to correct it immediately.

By any honor left around or in me, I swear I will do this, regardless of whether she ever knows of it or not. I will come from behind, a maladjusted soul, to make this right. No more lies
